Terms and Conditions

As may be amended from time to time, these terms and conditions apply to all our services directly or indirectly (through distributors) made available online, through any mobile device, by email, or by telephone. By accessing, browsing, and using our (mobile) website or any of our applications through whatever platform (hereafter collectively referred to as the "Platform") and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy statement).

A Saudi trademark registered and protected by the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property "Registration 1443011221 & 1437010664" and registered in the Ministry of Commerce "Registration 4031237361", licensed by the Ministry of Tourism  "license# 73101656", in addition, approved by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah as its Umrah platform and Added in Eatmarna Mobile Apps as an approved reservation provider.

"Platform" means the (mobile) website, Apps, WhatsApp, and Phone, on which the Travel Service is made available, owned, controlled, managed, maintained and/or hosted by MyHotels.

"Trip/Travel Services" means the various and different travel products and services that can be ordered, acquired, purchased, bought, paid, rented, provided, reserved, combined, or consummated by you from the Trip/Travel Services Provider.

"Suppliers" means the professional provider of accommodation (e.g., hotel, motel, apartment, bed & breakfast), attractions (e.g. (theme) parks, museums, sightseeing tours), transportation providers (e.g., car rentals, cruises, rail, airport rides, coach tours, transfers), tour operators, travel insurances, and any other travel or related product or service as from time to time available for Trip Reservation on the Platform (whether B2B or B2C).

"Trip Service" means the online purchase, order, (facilitated) payment, or reservation service as offered or enabled by MyHotels in respect of various products and services from time to time made available by Trip Providers on the Platform.

"Trip Reservation" means a trip's order, purchase, payment, booking, or reservation.

"Cancellation Policy" means the fee to be charged from the value of the reservation paid in the event of cancellation on the date specified in the cancellation policy and later - shown in a sample date and fee/penalty amount.

We provide the option to book hotel rooms, suites, hotels, and furnished apartments, including all fees and taxes, through our integration with the suppliers. By booking through any of the booking channels for MyHotels, a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship is established. We will only act as an intermediary between you and the suppliers. We give details of your reservation to the suppliers concerned with your booking, and we send you a confirmation email on behalf of the supplier.

MyHotels is not responsible for any errors (including graphical and typographical errors), or any interruption (either due to any breakdown, repair, development, maintenance (temporary and/or partial) or otherwise). We are not responsible for inaccurate, misleading information or lack of delivery information.

Each supplier always remains liable for the accuracy, completeness, and precision of the (descriptive) information (including prices and availability).

Except for the Umrah packages that include the Umrah visa, The customer's responsibility is to obtain the needed Visa for any trip. Since MyHotels does not provide visa processing services, it is the customer's responsibility to provide my hotels with correct and accurate information and that the customer makes full payment for the service before completing the reservation. The customer must review the terms and conditions, privacy statement, and terms of modification and cancellation For reservations and comply with all security and travel regulations, including, but not limited to, carrying valid travel documents.

MyHotels is working hard to ensure that your booking information is ready for the hotels as soon as possible. However, we guarantee last-minute booking within 9 hours of the reservation time; your reservation information will be available at the hotel. In case of reservations made on the same day, the customer must wait 4 hours to complete the reservation and inform the hotel.

We do not have any hidden charges at MyHotels. All bookings payment is collected in advance at MyHotels. All prices are displayed on MyHotels, including all fees and taxes. However, some countries and cities require tourists to pay an additional tax at the hotel. It is forbidden for any hotel provider, tourist office, or tourist site to collect these fees in advance from the client.

An example of these mentioned fees and not limited to is:

(Dubai, United Arab Emirates: MyHotels prices, including all fees and taxes, are mentioned as "10% service charge + 10% municipality fee + 5% VAT")

"However, local authorities in Dubai charge an additional fee payable to the hotel directly by the customer, which is prohibited from being collected in advance: AED 7 to AED 20 per room per night, based on the classification category of the hotel or furnished apartment)

AED 20 per night for a 5-star hotel or resort or a luxury serviced apartment

AED 15 per night for a 4-star hotel, resort, luxury hotel or luxury holiday home

AED 10 per night for a 3-star hotel, resort, 2-star hotel, tourist hotel, or holiday home

AED 7 per night for a one-star hotel or hostel

 

The second example of this mentioned fees and not limited to is:

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: MyHotels prices, including fees and taxes, are mentioned. 10% service charge + 2% municipality fee + 3.50% tourist fee + 5% VAT)

"However, local authorities in Abu Dhabi charge an additional charge to the hotel to be collected directly from the customer. It is prohibited to collect it in advance: daily municipal fees are AED 10 per room per night.

 

The third example of this mentioned fees and not limited to is:

(Malaysia: MyHotels prices are mentioned at 10% of the service charge). However, local authorities in Malaysia charge an additional charge to the hotel to be collected directly from the customer.

 

The fourth example of this mentioned fees and not limited to is:

(Greece: MyHotels prices, including all fees and taxes, are mentioned) 13% VAT + 0.50% City tax)

However, local authorities in Greece imposed mandatory city tax in January 2018

Guests should pay these charges directly to the hotel even if reservations and payments are made before 2018, and it is prohibited to collect them in advance.

Tax for room per night: EUR 4 for 5-star hotels - EUR 3 for 4-star hotels - EUR 1.5 for 3-star hotels for EUR 1.5 for 2-star hotels and 1 star.

 

A fifth example of this mentioned fees and not limited to is:

 (Germany, Frankfurt: MyHotels prices, including all fees and taxes, are mentioned as "7% VAT)

However, in January 2018, the local authorities in Frankfurt imposed a tourist tax, which is not prohibited from being collected in advance and have to be collected by the hotel, which is 2 euros per person per night to be paid by guests in the hotel.

Those who visit Germany to work must prove this when checking in to the hotel to exempt them from this tax.

 

A sixth example of this mentioned fees and not limited to is:

(India: MyHotels prices, including all fees and taxes, is mentioned)

However, the local authorities in India imposed a 10% tax on goods and services to be paid directly by the customer at the hotel, and it is prohibited to be collected in advance.

 

There are other examples of countries and cities that collect additional taxes like (France, Singapore, and Spain). These countries are only examples, and more non-mentioned countries might apply other non-mentioned taxes.

In case there is a difference between the Arabic text and the translation to any language of the terms and conditions, the Arabic text is the basis and is legally invoked.
